Zusammenfassung

World Meteorological Organization is seeking a senior manager to lead the CREWS Secretariat's programme portfolio, providing strategic direction, performance oversight and results-based management to deliver development outcomes.

You will drive reporting to donors, coordinate with partners, and mentor staff while aligning activities with CREWS procedures and Steering Committee guidance in a global, multi‑donor context.

Qualifikationen

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Environmental Sciences, Development Studies, International Relations, Programme Management or related field.
  • First-level degree with two years of directly relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of master's.
  • At least 10 years in international programme management or multi-donor portfolios.
  • Proven experience in results-based management and performance measurement.
  • Experience working with international organizations or the UN system is desirable.

Aufgaben

  • Oversee the CREWS portfolio of programmes, projects and partnerships.
  • Ensure alignment with CREWS procedures and Steering Committee guidance.
  • Monitor performance, delivery rates, risks and indicators.
  • Lead monitoring, evaluation, learning and accountability framework.
  • Coordinate high-quality reports for governance bodies and donors.
  • Engage with national partners and implementers to strengthen collaboration.
  • Provide leadership and development for staff within the CREWS Secretariat.
