Viking seeks a motivated procurement-oriented professional to support the New Build Category Manager in sourcing and procurement for Ocean and Expedition ships. You will gain exposure to shipyard projects, coordinate supplier activities and logistics, and collaborate with global teams to ensure timely vessel deliveries.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed degree.
• Willingness to travel for shipyard, supplier visits and project activities.
• Fluency in English; additional languages a plus.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and issue purchase orders to vendors for new vessel deliveries.
• Coordinate logistics activities and monitor deliveries to shipyards.
• Assist in negotiating terms with suppliers and maintain vendor relationships.
• Update procurement databases with product specs and pricing.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on status, deliveries and project developments.
• Monitor project timelines and costs.
• Review supplier invoices and ensure PO compliance.
