Job summary

You will translate customer and affiliate needs into compelling business cases, champion the product with regional partners, and drive strategic marketing and launch efforts to sustain market leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Scientific, Engineering, or Business discipline; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of product management, marketing, or related commercial experience in Medical Diagnostics or devices.
• Fluent in English.
• Proven ability to prioritize requirements and make strategic trade-offs with diverse global stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and influencing skills in a global matrix environment.
• Direct experience with cobas 5800/6800/8800 or other automated molecular diagnostics platforms.
• Solid understanding of IVD instrument hardware, software, and lab workflows including LIS/middleware interfacing.
• Global experience, e.g., working in a global role or with multiple country affiliates.
• Understanding of design control processes for regulated medical devices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the global product strategy for the Molecular Work Area portfolio.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Global Customer Support, Operations) to drive the full product lifecycle, from feature development to on-market support.
• Gather customer and business requirements from affiliates, key customers and other Lifecycle Teams, translating them into compelling business cases and product features.
• Act as the product champion and central point of contact for regional and affiliate partners, ensuring they have tools, training, and support to succeed commercially.
• Serve as an active member of the Product Care & Quality Team (PCQT), driving prioritization and resolution of on-market issues to ensure customer satisfaction and product quality.
• Drive the strategic marketing direction for the portfolio, defined positioning, messaging, and launch strategies; own competitive analysis and campaigns.
