Job summary

MET International AG in Switzerland seeks an experienced LNG origination professional to lead mid- to long-term LNG and natural gas deals, from initial screening through term sheet negotiation to execution. The role focuses on global market access and strong external relationships to optimize opportunities for MET LNG.

The successful candidate will model transactions rigorously, draft board-ready proposals, and collaborate with MET Group subsidiaries to align with LNG strategy and risk

Qualifications

• 4+ years of LNG and/or natural gas origination experience.
• Experience drafting, negotiating and executing mid/long term LNG contracts.
• Strong transaction structuring and modelling abilities.
• Proven ability to present insights to executives via board proposals/decks.
• Extensive network in LNG markets is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mid/long-term deal origination, structuring, execution & management.
• Market access focal point for the assigned region’s counterparties.
• Originate LNG mid to long-term transactions (3 years and beyond) from KYC to termsheets to execution; negotiate terms with internal/external teams.
• Leverage and maintain relationships with external players to identify opportunities.
• Support structuring of related hedges/trades and capacity positions with internal teams.
• Ad hoc duties as required.
