BGN, headquartered in Genf, is seeking an analytical LNG Market Analyst to support trading activities through market research, fundamental analysis and data-driven insights. You will monitor global LNG markets, track demand, pricing benchmarks and vessel movements, and prepare regular market reports for traders and management.

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Business or Energy or related field
• Minimum 2 years of LNG, energy, commodities, oil & gas market analysis or related experience
• Strong understanding of global LNG market fundamentals and trade flows
• Familiarity with major LNG markets (US, Europe, Asia-Pacific)
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills for large datasets
• Advanced Excel and data analysis proficiency
• Experience with Power BI, Python, SQL or similar tools is an advantage
• Strong research skills and ability to translate info into insights
• Excellent written and verbal English communication
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, international, commercially driven environment

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and analyze global LNG markets including supply, demand, trade flows, pricing and fundamentals
• Track LNG production, liquefaction utilization, outages, and new project developments
• Analyze LNG demand, imports, storage levels and weather-related demand drivers
• Monitor LNG vessel movements, routes, freight rates and global trade flows
• Follow key LNG pricing benchmarks (e.g., JKM, TTF, Henry Hub, WTI) and assess impacts on LNG economics
• Conduct fundamental and quantitative analysis to identify trends, opportunities and risks
• Prepare regular market reports, dashboards, forecasts and presentations for trading/management
• Provide timely market intelligence to traders and stakeholders
• Develop and maintain market databases, models and analytical tools
• Monitor geopolitical, regulatory, macroeconomic and infrastructure developments affecting LNG markets
• Analyze regional price spreads and arbitrage opportunities
• Collaborate with LNG traders and commercial teams to meet business requirements
• Contribute to improving market analysis methodologies and reporting processes
