Job summary

Bilfinger Life Science seeks a Sales Manager to drive strategic accounts in pharma/biopharma plant engineering and related piping projects. You will grow the sales pipeline, secure orders, and broaden relationships with customers and planners across EU and global markets.

The ideal candidate has higher education in business or engineering, sales experience in plant engineering, and strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.

Qualifications

• Completed higher education in business or engineering (e.g. University of Applied Sciences or Technical University)
• Native German, business-fluent English
• Experience in sales of plant engineering and piping construction projects, Pharma/Biopharma preferred
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
• Proficient in MS Office and basic contract law

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop strategic accounts
• Develop sales pipeline through market/competition analysis
• Ensure order intake and revenue generation
• Expand and maintain relationships with customers and planners across EU and global markets
• Implement and develop structured sales/marketing strategies
• Prepare and negotiate contracts, create offers and agreements
• Report regularly and forecast revenue; maintain CRM data

Tasks as Sales Manager

• Evaluation and development of strategic accounts
• Further development of a sales pipeline based on systematic analyses (market, competition, customers)
• Ensuring order intake and revenue generation
• Expansion and maintenance of existing relationships with customers and planners within the EU sales territory and globally
• Implementation and further development of structured sales and marketing strategies
• Preparation and execution of contract negotiations, as well as creation of offers and agreements
• Regular reporting and revenue forecasting, continuous maintenance of customer and project data in the CRM system
  
  

We are looking forward to meeting a candidate with

• Preferably a completed higher education in business or engineering (e.g. University of Applied Sciences or Technical University), specializing in business administration, engineering, process engineering, or pharmaceutical engineering
• Relevant experience in the sales of plant engineering and piping construction projects, preferably in industries such as Pharma & Biopharma
• Industry knowledge and/or an existing network with key decision-makers in the above mentioned industries
• Strong presentation skills, negotiation skills, and closing ability
• Native-level German proficiency and business-fluent English, both written and spoken
• High level of interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate oneself and others
• Basic knowledge of contract law
• Proficient in MS Office
• Time flexibility and a high willingness to travel
