Job summary

Bilfinger is seeking a Sales Manager (m/f/d) for Plant Engineering in Pharma/Biopharma. You will develop strategic accounts, expand the sales pipeline, and ensure revenue growth across EU and international projects.

The ideal candidate has higher education in business or engineering, strong presentation and negotiation skills, and fluency in German and English, with a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Preferably a completed higher education in business or engineering with a focus on business administration, engineering or pharma engineering.
• Relevant experience in sales of plant engineering and piping construction projects, preferably pharma/biopharma.
• Industry knowledge or existing network with key decision-makers in pharma/biopharma.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop strategic accounts.
• Expand and maintain relationships with customers and planners in EU and globally.
• Develop and implement structured sales and marketing strategies.
• Prepare and execute contract negotiations and create offers/agreements.

Tasks as Sales Manager

• Evaluation and development of strategic accounts
• Further development of a sales pipeline based on systematic analyses (market, competition, customers)
• Ensuring order intake and revenue generation
• Expansion and maintenance of existing relationships with customers and planners within the EU sales territory and globally
• Implementation and further development of structured sales and marketing strategies
• Preparation and execution of contract negotiations, as well as creation of offers and agreements
• Regular reporting and revenue forecasting, continuous maintenance of customer and project data in the CRM system

We are looking forward to meeting a candidate with

• Preferably a completed higher education in business or engineering (e.g. University of Applied Sciences or Technical University), specializing in business administration, engineering, process engineering, or pharmaceutical engineering
• Relevant experience in the sales of plant engineering and piping construction projects, preferably in industries such as Pharma & Biopharma
• Industry knowledge and/or an existing network with key decision-makers in the above mentioned industries
• Strong presentation skills, negotiation skills, and closing ability
• Native-level German proficiency and business-fluent English, both written and spoken
• High level of interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate oneself and others
• Basic knowledge of contract law
• Proficient in MS Office
• Time flexibility and a high willingness to travel
