Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned leader to head Automation and Digital Engineering, shaping a multi-year vision for a globally aligned function. You will manage a 10+ person engineering workforce and coordinate with strategic providers on a multi-billion CHF CAPEX portfolio.

You will advance automation capabilities, set engineering standards, and partner with stakeholders to drive sustainable, cost-efficient design and deployment across manufacturing and process development, with 40–50% travel.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• MS or MBA desirable.
• Experience leading and coaching multi-disciplinary teams.

Aufgaben

• Provide leadership and oversight to Automation and Digital Engineering with a global scope.
• Oversee and develop a technical workforce of 10+ employees globally and strategic providers.
• Develop capabilities in automation and digital engineering while ensuring efficient processes.
• Partner with stakeholders to evolve global engineering standards and technology advances.
• Leverage technologies to prepare for future automation challenges in manufacturing and process development.
• Ensure sustainable and cost-effective design and implementation strategies.
• Develop partnerships with external automation firms aligned with Global Procurement.
• Foster global communities of practice for automation engineers.
• Collaborate with Pharma Digital and IT/OT on a comprehensive automation strategy.
