Qualifikationen

• Degree in engineering (aerospace, mechanical, electrical, or similar); business qualification a plus.
• Proven track record running engineering planning, processes, and execution across multiple concurrent programs.
• Hands-on experience with PLM/PDM and ERP systems, configuration management, and engineering change control.

Aufgaben

• Ensure reliable execution of the engineering organization and own the processes, methods, and tools needed for high-quality, fast-paced delivery.
• Drive execution discipline across programs with resource planning, milestone tracking, process assurance, change control, and design-to-production handover.
• Own engineering-wide planning, including resource allocation, forecasting, capacity planning, and headcount across programs.
• Track and report engineering KPIs, including budget, cost, earned value, schedule adherence, and quality, to leadership.
• Define and continuously improve requirements management, change control, configuration management, and verification and validation processes.
• Improve the engineering toolchain, infrastructure, and methods.
• Manage configuration managers, quality assurance, process and method engineers, and Engineering PMO.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards and development requirements, including STANAG, DO160G, DO178C, DO254, and export control.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and skills development across engineering.
• Work closely with the CTO, engineering management, and program leadership.
