Jobtailor in Switzerland is seeking a Senior Digital & Automation Leader to drive exploration and transfer of digital technologies in the coffee category, elevating operational efficiency and product development across zones.

You will act as the technical expert for state-of-the-art digital tools, build capability through train-the-trainer programs, and partner with IT and technology vendors to evolve the roadmap.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Electronics, Software, Telecommunications engineering, Automation or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in R&D, Data Analytics, Automation, Industrial IT, or software engineering.
• Advanced technical knowledge in Data Analytics, Software Development, or Automation.
• Proven track record of successful project execution and technology implementation.
• Strong project and change management capabilities.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in user-centered design and agile methodologies.
• Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements.
• Strong curiosity and passion for innovation.
• Hands-on attitude
• Collaborative mindset
• Fluency in English

Aufgaben

• Lead and drive digital technology exploration and technology transfer to industrialization within the coffee category
• Integrate innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and product development
• Serve as the technical expert on state-of-the-art digital and automation tools and technologies used in coffee
• Build organisational capability through a train-the-trainer approach
• Lead exploration and development of digital capabilities with IT, Zones, and technology partners
• Evolve the Digital & Automation roadmap for coffee
• Oversee deployment and adoption of the Digital & Automation roadmap across Zones and operations
• Ensure effective technology transfer and sustainable implementation
• Drive and technically evaluate proofs of concept
• Assess improvements and support successful scale-up of validated technologies
• Establish and maintain digital and automation technology standards
• Promote best-practice sharing throughout the coffee manufacturing network
