IUCN Headquarters in Gland, Switzerland seeks a Director, GISG to lead the IT and Digital Transformation function across the Secretariat. The role centers on defining and delivering an IT strategy to advance conservation goals, enhance operational efficiency and support a digital-first organisation.

The successful candidate will drive data governance, cybersecurity, cloud architecture, and integration of enterprise applications while collaborating with global partners, donors and members.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible IT experience, including senior leadership in international/large-scale organisations.
• Strong track record in digital transformation, cloud migration and platform modernization.
• Experience with cybersecurity governance, risk management and data protection in international context.

Aufgaben

• Set and execute the strategic vision for IT, data governance and digital innovation across IUCN Secretariat.
• Oversee global IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, data governance and enterprise applications.
• Lead IT and Digital Transformation initiatives, ensuring governance, budget alignment and stakeholder engagement.
• Foster collaboration with Centres, Regional Offices, Finance and Administration and external partners.
