Overview

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to serve as Head of Lifecycle and Market Development for our Alzheimer’s Disease portfolio. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping the lifecycle strategy of our innovative biomarker diagnostics, ensuring alignment with clinical development, market access, and external stakeholder needs. Within Danaher DX we are building strategies that encompass the broad offerings of our operating companies aiming to connect solutions centered for patients.

The ideal candidate combines scientific and commercial acumen, brings credibility with external experts, and has a proven ability to bridge science, strategy, and market dynamics.

Responsibilities
  • Lifecycle & Strategy
    • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous refinement of lifecycle management strategies for Alzheimer’s Disease diagnostics as well as our broader Neurodegeneration indications.
    • Critically review and challenge development plans to optimize long-term value creation, patient access, and competitive positioning.
    • Partner with the franchise and the Operating companies to anticipate evolving market needs, regulatory requirements, and competitive trends to proactively cocreate portfolio strategy.
  • Market Development & External Engagement
    • Serve as a conduit between internal teams and external stakeholders including clinicians, industry partners, patient advocacy groups, and key opinion leaders (KOLs). Thereby build a cross functional market development plan integrating core decisionmakers and clinical communities.
    • Translate scientific innovation into market-ready strategies by integrating medical, patient, and payer perspectives.
    • Build trusted relationships with external experts, consortia, and industry alliances to position the company as a thought leader in Alzheimer’s diagnostics.
    • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that accelerate adoption and market access of novel biomarkers together with other functions
  • Cross-functional Leadership
    • Partner closely with R&D, Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, and Market Access of one and more operating companies to align strategy and execution.
    • Provide strategic input into clinical study designs, evidence generation plans, and regulatory interactions with the end to end lifecycle in mind.
    • Act as an internal advocate for patient and market perspectives across all stages of development.
    • Contribute to business development activities, including evaluations of external opportunities and collaborations.
Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, or related discipline (PhD, MD, PharmD, or equivalent); MBA desirable.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in diagnostics, biotech, or pharma with significant exposure to lifecycle management and market development.
  • Proven track record in Alzheimer’s Disease or neurology-related therapeutic/diagnostic areas preferred.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and critical thinking skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Established network of KOLs, industry partners, and/or patient groups in neurology or diagnostics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience representing an organization externally at high levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative, and collaborative environment.
