Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation, based in Lucerne, Switzerland, seeks an Associate Director, Strategic Sourcing - Finished Goods to lead the global category for finished goods in a hybrid model.

You will design and execute a comprehensive sourcing strategy with regional teams, driving cost productivity, supplier competitiveness, and supply continuity while negotiating major agreements with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement.
• Proven success developing and implementing global category strategies.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and leading complex negotiations.
• Strong stakeholder management within matrix organizations.
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities.
• Fluent English.
• Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 15-20%).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global sourcing strategy for Finished Goods.
• Drive productivity, cost optimization, supplier competitiveness, and working capital improvements.
• Lead sourcing events, supplier selection processes, and commercial negotiations.
• Align regional procurement teams around global strategies, governance, and best practices.
• Deliver sourcing initiatives that support profitable growth and operational excellence.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for OEM systems and finished goods to enhance competitiveness and supply continuity across Carrier's global portfolio.
