Roche seeks a Head of Global External Affairs to lead policy architecture and high-stakes engagement for Roche Diagnostics. You will direct global teams, harmonize policy across regulatory, healthcare, environmental, and trade domains, and advance enterprise priorities with major external bodies including WHO and OECD.

You will collaborate with regional leaders and Roche affiliates to implement a unified policy framework, accelerating business priorities while shaping sustainable healthcare

Qualifikationen

• Advanced degree in Public Policy, Health Policy, International Relations, Law, Environmental Affairs, or Life Sciences
• Minimum 15+ years of global or multi-regional leadership in External Affairs, Policy Setting, or Government Relations within IVD/Medical Device/Pharma
• Proven track record leading global teams and building internal policy capabilities
• Proven experience in central policy development and multi-stakeholder partnerships

Aufgaben

• Lead central policy setting and governance for Roche Diagnostics' official policy positions on trade, regulatory, healthcare, and environmental topics
• Shape and socialise Roche's unified policy stance with external bodies e.g. WHO, OECD
• Drive external engagement and partnerships with industry associations, NGOs, and policy platforms
• Align global policy with regional affiliates to translate positions into local execution
• Provide leadership across QR&E, Diagnostics, Pharma, Legal, and Sustainability to maintain policy cohesion
