Zusammenfassung

Syngenta is seeking a Global Environmental Technology Lead to shape and deploy technologies that reduce environmental impact while protecting operations. This hybrid role is based in Muttenz, Switzerland, with Monthey considered.

You will connect manufacturing, process development, and external partners to turn complex environmental challenges into scalable solutions. The ideal candidate has a Master's in chemistry/related field and 10+ years in industrial chemical operations or process

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Process Engineering or related discipline.
• Ideally 10+ years’ experience in industrial chemical operations and/or process development.
• Demonstrated expertise in environmental technologies and regulatory understanding.
• Fluent business English; French is highly advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Set the global environmental technology strategy across waste, wastewater, air emissions, vent treatment, recovery and recycling.
• Identify and mature emerging technologies from lab scale to robust manufacturing applications.
• Partner with global and local manufacturing teams to address environmental challenges and safeguard operations.
• Provide technical leadership and independent challenge for environmental projects including feasibility, benefit, risk and cost.
• Influence product and process choices early by evaluating waste streams and active-ingredient development.
• Develop practical, high-value solutions reducing impact to air, water and land across existing products and sites.
• Build and lead a connected global environmental technology community across functions and external partners.
• Grow internal capabilities through coaching, training, and knowledge sharing.
