Zusammenfassung

SHL Medical seeks a Global Environmental Manager to shape and drive our environmental agenda across global operations. You will lead climate transition efforts, develop policies in line with ISO 14001, and collaborate with senior leadership to reduce Scope 1–3 emissions.

You will oversee carbon accounting, data-driven reporting, and external disclosures while aligning with SBTi and regulatory standards. This role invites a hands-on leader with deep climate expertise and global reach.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in environmental engineering or related field.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Operational experience on Scope 1&2, waste, emission reduction projects at manufacturing sites.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant environmental experience.
• Deep technical expertise in greenhouse gas accounting and environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001).
• Strategic thinker with hands-on, pragmatic approach and strong operational background.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and drive results with limited oversight.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement, including engagement with senior leadership.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% internationally.
• Strong English language skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead development and execution of SHL Medical’s global environmental strategy.
• Design and implement climate transition plan to reduce emissions (Scopes 1, 2, 3).
• Develop and implement global environmental policies and processes (ISO 14001).
• Drive initiatives in compliance, waste reduction, water stewardship, biodiversity across facilities.
• Monitor and analyze environmental performance metrics, inform decision-making.
• Oversee corporate carbon accounting and external disclosures (CDP).
