Job summary

Zurich is seeking a Senior Risk Manager to shape group-wide risk governance and lead risk assessments. You will partner with first and second line teams to implement the risk framework and deliver credible reporting for leadership and Board. English communication and extensive risk management experience are essential.

Based in Zurich, you will operate in a multinational insurance environment, driving improvements and ensuring disciplined risk management practices across the Group.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in enterprise risk, operational risk, insurance risk, risk advisory, consulting, strategy or related field.
• Experience in international insurance environment preferred.
• English fluency for stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead group-wide standards and governance for strategic and operational risk management.
• Develop and deliver Zurich's key risk taker framework.
• Drive continuous improvement to simplify processes and improve outcomes.
• Build partnerships across first and second line to achieve shared risk goals.
• Represent Zurich in engagement with the Group supervisor and Board.
• Lead risk assessments and evaluate internal controls in risk context.
• Provide reporting on strategic and other risk matters for leadership and stakeholders.
• Elevate data-driven insights into forward-looking themes and warnings.
