Zusammenfassung

UNFPA in Geneva seeks an Emergency Officer (EPP Secretary) to support the GERU within HRD. Based in Geneva, you will assist in planning and implementing the EPP rollout, monitoring, knowledge management and reporting of EPP-related processes, and provide secretariat support when a corporate emergency response is activated.

You will work under the Head of GERU, ensuring UNFPA’s emergency responses adhere to the EPPs framework and collaborate with Country Offices, Regional Offices and HQ units.

Qualifikationen

• Fluent English required.
• Knowledge of Arabic or French is an asset but not mandatory.

Aufgaben

• Support GERU team in planning and implementation of the EPP rollout, monitoring, knowledge management and reporting of EPP-related processes.
• Provide EPP secretariat functions, especially when a corporate emergency response is activated.
• Coordinate with Country Offices, Regional Offices and HQ Business Units to align with UNFPA policies and procedures.
