Job summary

CSL Behring is seeking a Senior Clinical Development Leader to drive the Clinical Development Team for internal pre-clinical assets, ensuring robust CDPs, high-quality clinical input, and timely stage-gate presentations.

The role requires MD/PhD/PharmD, extensive pharma/biotech development experience, and strong leadership in a matrix environment. Hybrid work with onsite presence is expected; salary range noted and total compensation may include incentives and equity.

Qualifications

• MD, PhD or PharmD in life science/healthcare required.
• MD – Board Certified (or non-USA equivalent) preferred.
• Extensive clinical development pharma/biotech experience with regulatory know-how.
• 3+ years of relevant clinical development experience in a pharmaceutical or clinical study setting.
• Demonstrated program leadership capabilities in a matrix environment.
• Proven analytical thinking and scientific/medical writing skills.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholder risk and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong in communication and presentation of complex clinical data.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical representative on due diligence teams and develop CDPs and slide decks.
• Provide CDT leadership and ensure alignment with regulatory and program strategy.
• Lead integration of internal/external expert contributions to study design and strategy.
• Ensure alignment with CSL Behring processes, GCP, and ICH regulations.
• Presents results to safety and oversight committees and participates in due diligence for external projects.
• Lead author contributions for regulatory and publication documents.
