Hitachi Energy in Zurich is seeking a Project Manager for Secondary Engineering to oversee LCC local control cabinet projects from handover to installation, coordinating engineering and production with the GIS project team. You will lead cross-functional activities, manage scope, time and budget, conduct customer meetings, ensure design freezes and create production and as-built documents, with about 10% travel.

Fluency in English required; German desirable.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering of secondary projects and project management.
• Fluency in English required; fluency in German and other languages is desired.
• Experience with Zuken E3 is a plus.
• Independent, well-structured and autonomous work style with self-control of actions.
• Responsible for technical and standard-compliant project execution, coordination with upstream and downstream departments, and compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001.

Aufgaben

• Lead secondary engineering projects from handover and manage scope, time, and cost.
• Lead engineering activities with the extended workbench (base and detail design).
• Clarify deviations with customers and conduct customer meetings.
• Prepare production documents and support production in feeder/supplier factories.
• Perform final acceptance tests with customers and create as-built documents for close-out.
• Participate in project reporting structures (e.g., digital project board).
• Assist with sales and tender processes and support the production line.
• Contribute to development projects and improvement initiatives.
