Job summary

Huawei Research Center Switzerland in Bern, Switzerland seeks a Contract Manager to lead negotiations and manage sales contracts throughout their lifecycle. You will respond to bids, draft contracts, and coordinate with legal and procurement to ensure compliance.

This role requires three years of relevant experience, fluent German and English, and a strong ability to manage risks and drive contract quality in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Three years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Deep knowledge of contracts (payment terms, pricing, taxation, IPR, etc.).
• Ability to understand customers' needs to deliver solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a multicultural environment.
• Bachelor degree or higher in International Trade, Economics or Law.
• Native German and fluent in English.
• Good command of PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide responses to bids, proposals and contract negotiations and prepare RFPs for vendors.
• Generate, draft and review pre-sales contracts and manage after-sales fulfilment.
• Act as chief negotiator for sales contracts and lead complex negotiations.
• Establish partnerships with customers' mid-level managers from legal and procurement.
• Manage risks of sales contracts and improve contract quality.
• Manage changes and addendums to contracts and identify policy improvements.
• Develop and implement procedures for contract management in line with policy.
• Manage contract reviews and support contract decision-making.
• Guide project managers on contracting matters and train staff.
• Oversee profitability, commercial models, clauses, risks, and competition.
• Track and analyze contract obligations and manage change opportunities.
