Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in German translation, linguistics, localization or related field.
• Native or near-native German with Germany locale conventions.
• Minimum C1 English proficiency for prompts and guidelines.
• 5+ years of professional localization/translation experience.
• Apply MQM/LQA concepts to produce quality decisions.
• Proficiency with CAT tools, translation memory and QA workflows.
• Excellent editorial judgment with attention to detail.
• Rigorous fact-checking of localized content using reliable sources.
• Able to work as an hourly contractor across time zones.
• Previous AI data training/annotation experience preferred.
• Location requirement: based in Germany.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI Training Content: create prompts and responses to guide AI learning.
