Zusammenfassung

The Dixon Lab at the University of Basel seeks a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to design, analyze and interpret computational and single-cell biology projects in cancer neuroimmunology.

You will lead analyses of single-cell, spatial transcriptomics, and multi-omics data, develop reproducible pipelines, apply ML/AI methods, and collaborate with experimental scientists to guide study design and interpretation.

Qualifikationen

  • PhD required in a relevant field and strong background in computational biology.
  • Experience with single-cell and/or spatial omics technologies.
  • Strong background in data analysis and statistical modeling.
  • Proficiency in ML/AI applications to biological data.
  • Proficiency in scientific computing frameworks and coding.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Aufgaben

  • Lead computational analyses of single-cell, spatial transcriptomics, and multi-omics datasets.
  • Develop and maintain reproducible, well-documented analysis pipelines.
  • Apply and adapt machine learning approaches to biological questions.
  • Collaborate with experimental scientists to guide study design and interpretation.
  • Contribute to grant writing and strategic lab planning.
  • Mentor PhD students and postdocs and publish first-author work.
