Job Responsibilities

• Follow policies and procedures according to Texas Minimum Standards.
• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
• Monitor classroom behavior using appropriate behavior management techniques; promote personal responsibility and respect among children.
• Relate to children with courtesy, respect, acceptance, and patience.
• Plan daily activities and lesson plans aligned with the curriculum to support early childhood development, focusing on physical, mental, emotional, and social growth.
• Provide materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate, and use during learning activities and imaginative play.
• Teach basic skills such as letters, numbers, shapes, and colors.
• Attend to children’s personal care needs, including diaper changing, potty training, bathroom assistance, hand washing, meal assistance, and clothing changes.
• Maintain professionalism at all times.
• Pass fingerprinting and background checks.
