Job summary

Adaptyv is seeking a full-stack product engineer to build the orchestration layer of LabOS, coordinating experiment scheduling, execution, data capture and results processing. Day-to-day you’ll create interfaces and APIs for scientists and AI agents to monitor real-time lab activity, and you’ll develop AI-assisted tooling to automate decisions across the experiment lifecycle.

• Full-stack production experience across frontend and backend.
• Strong product intuition and shipped products.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity with limited specs.
• Extensive use of AI tools to augment development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the LabOS orchestration layer across experiment scheduling, execution and data capture.
• Create interfaces and APIs for scientists and AI agents to monitor lab activity in real time.
• Build AI-assisted tooling to automate decisions in the experiment lifecycle and troubleshoot results.
• Turn hardware into API-controllable devices and design complex instrument scheduling with dependencies.
