Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Freight Cost & Transportation Analytics Manager to drive cost control and analytics excellence across its Global Supply Chain. You will lead freight audit, payments, and reporting, acting as a SME for transportation analytics platforms while collaborating with Procurement, Finance, and external partners to optimize costs and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Finance, Operations, Engineering).
• 5+ years in supply chain logistics, transportation management, freight cost control, or related analytics roles.
• Experience with freight audit/payment processes or freight management systems is desirable.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and drive actionable insights.
• Advanced Excel and ERP/analytics platform experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead freight audit and payment processes with external providers, ensuring accurate validation and timely payments.
• Manage freight cost reporting, financial analysis, accruals, and transportation performance metrics.
• Serve as transportation SME for analytics platforms, improving data quality and reporting.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Transportation, Finance, and external partners to ensure governance and efficiency.
• Lead and support projects focused on process improvement, automation, and analytics capability development.
