Job summary

SBM Offshore is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead FPSO design, construction, installation and start-up, coordinating engineering, procurement, construction and operations to meet scope, budget and schedule.

The role requires extensive project management expertise and leadership of multidisciplinary teams, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• Significant experience in managing FPSO projects or similar large-scale complex projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of FPSO projects from conception through to commissioning and operation.
• Manage development of project plans, schedules and budgets, and resource allocation to meet objectives.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and operations teams to ensure integration and alignment of project activities.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to meet targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental guidelines and company policies.
• Manage relationships with clients, contractors, regulatory bodies, and internal teams for effective communication.
