Loneliness Global Action (LGA) is the first citizen-powered global NGO dedicated to fighting loneliness as a public health emergency, societal risk, and economic crisis. Headquartered in Geneva and expanding to 100+ countries by 2026, LGA operates as a federation of legally autonomous yet ethically unified chapters.

We unite public, private, and nonprofit sectors to make human connection a national priority — in every country and culture.

Through AI-powered tools, an open global database, and collective knowledge, we empower people to understand, address, and overcome loneliness together.

It increases early death (+26%), suicide risk (×10–16), heart disease (+29%), dementia, and burnout — silently draining $2 trillion globally every year.

Yet:

Global funding remains under $200M — less than 0.01% of what’s needed

WHO receives $3B/year — but loneliness has no dedicated program

$2.7T/year is spent on the military, while this silent epidemic spreads

That $2T loss? It’s nearly 7% of the U.S. GDP — a massive, invisible drain through burnout, absenteeism, low productivity, and rising healthcare costs.

If loneliness were as loud as war or a virus, we’d act.

But no one’s truly in charge.

That’s why we’re here — to face what’s ignored. To act where systems fail.

Turning Awareness into Action

• Share global insights on ethical, scalable IRL & AI-powered models
• Promote real-world businesses that reduce isolation
• Advocate across tech/startup ecosystems (e.g. French Tech)
• Unite changemakers, from local councils to ministries

We build bottom-up, with a startup-style strategy: agile, scalable, and tech-powered.

Using an influencer-first, citizen-led framework, we drive visibility, policy traction, and real-world change.

That’s why we’re inviting emotionally intelligent, purpose-driven leaders to found national chapters of Loneliness Global Action — and build a visible, organized, and credible movement in their country.

Because if we don’t lead this conversation, no one will.

Your Role

As a Founder / Co-Founder – Country Chapter, you will:

• Launch and officially represent LGA in your country
• Build your founding team (e.g., President, Secretary, Treasurer)
• Lead national initiatives in storytelling, partnerships, events, and petitions
• Register your chapter as a local nonprofit (with LGA’s guidance)
• Align with LGA’s values, bylaws, and strategic pillars
• Participate in global summits and federated decision-making
• Be a visible voice in media, academia, government, and the public

Who You Are

You don’t need a perfect plan — just a strong “why.”

You may be a mental health advocate, policymaker, student, entrepreneur, researcher, or community builder. If you care about human connection, you're qualified.

• Purpose-driven, emotionally intelligent, and action-oriented leaders
• Background in advocacy, community, partnerships, media, or health
• Comfortable with public engagement and local partnerships
• Able to commit 4–6 hours/week, flexibly and remotely
• Fluent in English + at least one local language
• Bonus: strong network within diaspora communities, embassies, campuses, professional networks, or nonprofit sectors
