Job summary

The Audi Revolut F1 Team, based at Audi Motorsport AG in Hinwil, Switzerland, is seeking a hands-on technician for a fixed-term six-month assignment focused on parts preparation, finishing and quality inspection for wind tunnel testing.

You will handle CNC-milled and DMLS parts, perform surface finishing, pre-assembly checks, and maintain a safe, organized workspace while collaborating with engineers and shift teams. Good English is preferred; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Several years of technical, hands-on experience; rapid prototyping parts preferred.
• Skilled with hand tools and measuring equipment.
• Independent and responsible with high quality standards throughout all steps.
• Willingness to work in a 2-shift schedule.
• Professional interaction with colleagues and superiors; team-oriented and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Preparation, finishing and quality inspection of test parts, including CNC-milled metal components, DMLS metal parts, and rapid-prototyped polymers.
• Surface finishing such as sanding, grinding, painting, drilling, tapping, and deburring to meet specifications.
• Pre-assembly and fit-check of components for wind tunnel testing.
• Dimensional and visual inspections to ensure quality standards and engineering requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
