University of Fribourg is seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician to support the Pharmacology Unit in metabolic and redox signaling research. The role includes molecular biology work, cell culture, and basic biochemistry techniques in a collaborative, international environment.

Requirements include a BSc or equivalent in biology/biochemistry/pharmacology, 3–5 years lab experience, and English proficiency; knowledge of French or German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• 3-5 years proven work experience with basic biochemical and molecular biology techniques.
• Diploma (CFC / BSc or equivalent) in Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology or a related field.
• Experience with in vivo model (mice, rats). FELASA accreditation category B (EU functions A, C, D) or Swiss equivalent i.e. Module1/LTK1 needed.
• Strong sense of organization, precision, and reliability.
• Good written and spoken English skills. Knowledge of French or German is an advantage

• Maintain lab documentation and ensure experiment readiness.
