Responsibilities include creating analysis protocols, generating reports, entering data into LIMS and MODA, and training new microbiology staff. German and English proficiency is an advantage in this cross-border position.

Qualifikationen

• Swiss or EU citizen with right to work for Switzerland.
• Training as a laboratory technician, CTA, or BSc with specialization in biology/biochemistry or similar.
• Hands-on microbiology experience is a plus.
• Fluency in German and English is advantageous; knowledge of GMP is a plus.

A laboratory technician in QC Microbiology is responsible for daily routine analysis and its organization.

Main responsibilities:

• Performing analytical methods within their area of responsibility, evaluating, reviewing, and reporting the results.
• Create analysis protocols, test instructions, and summary reports.
• Results to be entered and released into LIMS and MODA according to team-internal regulations.
• Document all laboratory activities in accordance with GMP and internal guidelines.
• Compliance with quality (SOP and GMP) and safety regulations is ensured.
• Maintaining cleanliness and order in the laboratory is essential.
• Training new microbiology staff and shift workers in their assigned area.
• The main methodological focus is on microbial identification and endotoxin measurements.

Required Qualifications:

• Swiss or EU citizen with right to work for Switzerland
• Completed training as a laboratory technician, CTA, or BSc with a specialization in biology, biochemistry or a similar field.
• Hands-on laboratory experience (especially experience with microbiological analysis techniques) is a plus.
• Fluency in German and English is an advantage.
