An international B2B life sciences manufacturing company based in St Gallen area is looking to hire a Financial Controller.

This interesting and busy role is to ensure the procedures for financial recording, reporting and forecasting. Be responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements. Cash management and VAT submissions to the Swiss regulatory authorities. Other duties include asset accounting and financial leasing, liaising with banks, insurance companies, authorities and auditors. Assist the Head of Financial Reporting and Accounting and to team lead two accounting officers. The role is hybrid 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

The ideal candidate will be CPA or ACCA qualified and have worked in the Swiss industrial sector ideally for a Swiss international organisation, experience with Swiss GAAP, IFRS. Knowledge of cash and financial management. A minimum of 6 years experience in a similar role, with fluency in German and English.

We can only consider candidates who are currently based in Switzerland or have worked in Switzerland and possess an EU passport.
