Hilo by Aktiia is seeking a Financial Controller to own the integrity of financial records across multiple entities and jurisdictions. This hands-on role includes leading monthly, quarterly and annual closes, supervising a small accounting team, and coordinating audits with external advisors.

You will drive automation and AI initiatives to scale finance processes as the company expands internationally. You will report to the VP Finance and collaborate with Operations, Sales, Growth and People,

Qualifications

• 5+ years in accounting, audit, or finance, ideally international.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge across P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Hands-on with monthly/annual closings and intercompany accounting.
• Experience with ERP systems and large financial datasets.
• Interest in AI, automation and finance process improvements.

Responsabilités

• Own the monthly, quarterly and annual closing across the Group.
• Coordinate accounting across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions.
• Supervise day-to-day accounting activities of a two-person team.
• Support annual audits and provide required financial information.
• Partner with FP&A to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
