Role Description

The Financial Controller is a full-time, on-site role based in Grono, responsible for overseeing the financial integrity and performance of ARX | smart minds. This position manages the preparation, review, and consolidation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies. The role includes monitoring budgets, analyzing variances, and providing clear financial reporting and insights to support decision-making by management and project teams. The Financial Controller will coordinate accounting processes, oversee month-end and year-end closing activities, and work closely with internal stakeholders to optimize financial controls and procedures. This role also contributes to forecasting, cash flow management, and continuous improvement of finance-related systems and workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting expertise, including experience with Accounting standards and preparation of Financial Statements.
• Solid background in Finance, with the ability to manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow.
• Proficiency in Financial Reporting, including creating clear, accurate reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support strategic decisions.
• Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is an advantage.
• Experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar senior finance role, ideally within engineering, construction, or related industries.
• Strong command of financial ERP or accounting systems and advanced skills in spreadsheet and data analysis tools.
• Attention to detail, high level of integrity, and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Effective communication skills in en_US and, ideally, additional local languages relevant to the Grono region.
