Job summary

KJUS is seeking a Financial Accountant reporting to the Financial Accounting Manager. The role covers bookkeeping for multiple entities, accounts receivable/payable support, and collaboration with the Shared Service Center across several countries.

Strong ERP and MS Office proficiency are essential, as is the ability to work independently in a dynamic global environment. The position requires at least five years in a similar role within international business and a solid foundation in finance

Qualifications

• Commercial education with finance and accounting specialization or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in a comparable accounting/finance role in an international business environment.
• Proficient in ERP systems, Microsoft Office applications, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping for LK Österreich GmbH, KJUS Retail GmbH and LK Deutschland GmbH, including transaction processing and intercompany reconciliation.
• Support accounts receivable activities, including backup for invoice processing.
• Support accounts payable activities, including payment initiation.
• Assist Financial Accounting Manager on projects, analyses, and technical accounting matters.
• Coordinate with Shared Service Center to ensure efficient financial processes.
• Manage the general Finance mailbox and communications with customers and vendors.
• Oversee dunning processes and assist cash collection.
• Prepare quarterly reporting packages for all entities.
• Maintain VAT codes in the ERP system and ensure records retention.

The Financial Accountant will report to the Financial Accounting Manager.

Key responsabilities:

• Responsible for bookkeeping for LK Österreich GmbH, KJUS Retail GmbH and LK Deutschland GmbH, including transaction processing, reporting, payments, coordination with external consultants, and intercompany reconciliation activities.
• Support accounts receivable activities, including serving as backup for invoice processing.
• Support accounts payable activities, including payment initiation.
• Support the Financial Accounting Manager in various projects, analyses, and technical accounting matters.
• Collaborate with and provide required information to the Shared Service Center to ensure efficient and accurate financial processes.
• Manage the general Finance mailbox, including communication with customers and vendors.
• Oversee the dunning process and support cash collection activities.
• Prepare quarterly reporting packages for all entities.
• Maintain VAT tax codes within the ERP system.
• Ensure proper document storage and records retention in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Commercial Education with further education in Finance and Accounting or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable accounting or finance position within an international business environment.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, reporting requirements, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficient user of ERP systems, Microsoft Office applications, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment with stakeholders across multiple countries and functions.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a dynamic international environment.
• Ability to work independently while effectively coordinating with shared services teams, external partners, and multiple legal entities.
• Strong analytical skills, adaptability, and a collaborative approach to solve problems and improve processes.
