Job summary

KJUS is seeking a Financial Accountant to join our international team. You will report to the Financial Accounting Manager and manage bookkeeping for LK Österreich GmbH, KJUS Retail GmbH and LK Deutschland GmbH, coordinating with shared services and external partners.

You will support AR/AP, contribute to quarterly reporting, VAT coding, and record retention while working across multiple countries and entities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Commercial education with further education in Finance and Accounting or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a comparable accounting/finance role in an international business environment.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, reporting requirements and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping for LK Österreich GmbH, KJUS Retail GmbH and LK Deutschland GmbH, including transaction processing and intercompany reconciliation.
• Support accounts receivable activities, including as a backup for invoice processing.
• Support accounts payable activities, including payment initiation.
• Prepare quarterly reporting packages and maintain VAT codes in ERP system.

The Financial Accountant will report to the Financial Accounting Manager.

Key responsabilities:

• Responsible for bookkeeping for LK Österreich GmbH, KJUS Retail GmbH and LK Deutschland GmbH, including transaction processing, reporting, payments, coordination with external consultants, and intercompany reconciliation activities.
• Support accounts receivable activities, including serving as backup for invoice processing.
• Support accounts payable activities, including payment initiation.
• Support the Financial Accounting Manager in various projects, analyses, and technical accounting matters.
• Collaborate with and provide required information to the Shared Service Center to ensure efficient and accurate financial processes.
• Manage the general Finance mailbox, including communication with customers and vendors.
• Oversee the dunning process and support cash collection activities.
• Prepare quarterly reporting packages for all entities.
• Maintain VAT tax codes within the ERP system.
• Ensure proper document storage and records retention in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Commercial Education with further education in Finance and Accounting or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable accounting or finance position within an international business environment.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, reporting requirements, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficient user of ERP systems, Microsoft Office applications, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment with stakeholders across multiple countries and functions.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a dynamic international environment.
• Ability to work independently while effectively coordinating with shared services teams, external partners, and multiple legal entities.
• Strong analytical skills, adaptability, and a collaborative approach to solve problems and improve processes.
