Job summary

ETH Space, located in Zurich, seeks a Finance & Controlling and Office Support specialist. You will manage budgets, project finances, procurement, and invoicing while supporting leadership and daily operations. The role combines financial rigor with administrative excellence in a dynamic ETH Zurich setting.

You bring at least 5 years of relevant experience, SAP proficiency, and strong German and English skills. The position is fixed-term with extension potential, based in Zurich downtown.

Qualifications

• Completed commercial/administrative vocational training and progress in accounting/controlling is an asset.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in academia or research.
• Strong SAP experience and proficiency in MS Office, including scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Budget calculations (annual and rolling forecasts).
• Project finances: budgeting, expenditure and financial reports.
• Procurement, including tenders and contract awards.
• Invoice verification and payment; expense claims processing.
• Project billing and internal finance inquiries.
• Office management support and recruitment coordination.
