Job summary

Anton Paar Switzerland AG in Baden, CH, seeks a Field Service Technician for Laboratory Instruments to service on-site, perform preventive maintenance, calibration, installations, and customer training in Western Switzerland (100%).

The ideal candidate has a technician diploma (Automation, Electromechanical, or Electrical Engineering HF preferred), hands-on experience with laboratory instruments, a valid Category B driving license, and languages: French and German; English is a plus.

Qualifications

• Qualification as an Automation Technician, Electromechanical Technician, or Electrical Engineering Technician, ideally with further education as a Higher Technical College (HF) Technician
• Preferably experience in the servicing of laboratory instruments
• Valid Category B driving licence
• Languages: French and good German skills required; English is an advantage

• Planning and performing maintenance and repair work on laboratory instruments for customers in Switzerland
• Calibrating and qualifying lab instruments and documenting results
• Preparing maintenance reports and qualification documentation
• Preparing quotations and cost estimates for service visits

Field Service Technician for Laboratory Instruments (m/f/d) - Region: Western Switzerland (100%)

Job Description

As a Field Service Technician, you will provide on-site service for our laboratory and process instrumentation, including preventive maintenance, calibration, installation, and customer training.

Your Responsibilities

• Planning and performing maintenance and repair work, as well as installations and GMP qualifications of laboratory measuring instruments for customers in the pharmaceutical and beverage industries
• Preparing maintenance reports and qualification documentation
• Preparing quotations and cost estimates
• Providing technical sales support and customer consultancy
• Carrying out in-house repairs

Qualifications

Your Profile

• Qualification as an Automation Technician, Electromechanical Technician, or Electrical Engineering Technician, ideally with further education as a Higher Technical College (HF) Technician
• Preferably experience in the servicing of laboratory instruments
• Valid Category B driving licence
• Languages: French and good German skills required; English is an advantage
