Job summary

Anton Paar GmbH is seeking a reliable Field Service Technician for the Western Switzerland region, located in Biel, Bern or Solothurn. You will provide on-site service for laboratory and process instruments, including maintenance, calibration, installation and customer training.

Ideal candidates hold a qualification as Automation Technician, Electromechanical Technician or Electrical Engineering Technician (HF preferred), have experience servicing laboratory instruments, hold a valid Category B

Qualifications

• Fluent in French; good German skills; English is an advantage.
• Valid Category B driving licence.
• Experience in servicing laboratory instruments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, perform maintenance, calibration, installations and GMP qualifications of laboratory instruments.
• Prepare maintenance reports and qualification documentation.
• Provide technical sales support and customer consultancy.
• Travel within Switzerland to customer sites.

To strengthen our Swiss Service Team, we are looking for a reliable and motivated:

Field Service Technician for Laboratory and Process Instruments (m/f/d) - Region: Western Switzerland/located in Biel, Bern or Solothurn (100%)

As a Field Service Technician, you will provide on-site service for our laboratory and process instrumentation, including preventive maintenance, calibration, installation, and customer training.

Your Responsibilities

• Planning and performing maintenance and repair work, as well as installations and GMP qualifications of laboratory measuring instruments for customers in the pharmaceutical and beverage industries
• Preparing maintenance reports and qualification documentation
• Preparing quotations and cost estimates
• Providing technical sales support and customer consultancy
• Carrying out in-house repairs

Your Profile

• Qualification as an Automation Technician, Electromechanical Technician, or Electrical Engineering Technician, ideally with further education as a Higher Technical College (HF) Technician
• Preferably experience in the servicing of laboratory instruments
• Valid Category B driving licence
• Languages: French and good German skills required; English is an advantage
