Zusammenfassung

IGZ Instruments AG in the Basel region is seeking a qualified service technician for installation, instruction, repairs and maintenance of laboratory and industrial equipment. You will also assist with equipment installation and instruction and perform service work as needed.

The role requires a technical apprenticeship, electrical engineering knowledge, and a proactive, independent approach with strong customer orientation. German and English are essential; French is an advantage.

With around 25 employees, IGZ has been serving the demanding laboratory market for science, medicine and industry for over 60 years.

We are looking to strengthen our team with immediate effect or by arrangement for a

• Installation/instruction/repairs/maintenance of laboratory and industrial equipment
• Installation and instruction of laboratory and industrial equipment
• Carrying out service work
• Provision of new equipment

Requirements

• Technical training with completed apprenticeship
• Electrical engineering knowledge
• Independent and proactive
• Flexible, with good customer orientation
• Familiar with modern IT tools
• Languages: good knowledge of German and English, French an advantage
• Driving license for PW
• Place of residence Basel region

Experience

• It would be nice if you already have experience in dealing with customers and as a service technician
• Experience in medical technology an advantage
