ABB operates globally, and in Baden, Switzerland, seeks a field-based Service Technician to perform on-site service activities aligned with ABB quality and safety guidelines. You will ensure excellent customer service through clear communication of schedules and expectations, while collaborating with customers and field colleagues.

Qualifikationen

• Completed vocational training in a technical electrical field.
• At least 3 years of experience in automation or electrical engineering.
• Knowledge of electromechanical systems and diagnostic tools.
• Fluent German and basic English.
• Willingness to travel and on-call rotation; weekend work possible.
• Valid Swiss driver's license.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with customers on-site to identify optimization opportunities and resolve existing challenges.
• Perform service assignments, identify technical issues, and conduct on-site or remote analysis within the service categories and product areas for which you are certified.
• Prepare material lists for service assignments and ensure that all required materials, spare parts, and tools are available, complete, and in proper working condition.
• Provide training to field service colleagues and customers as required.
