ABB Motion in Switzerland seeks a Field Service Engineer to be a key ambassador at customer sites, focusing on commissioning, maintenance and repair of frequency converters (drives). The role is field-based with frequent travel across Switzerland and on-call duties, contributing to ABB's drive systems in the Motion Service, Local Sales Unit in Morges.

You will diagnose faults, prepare service reports and technical documentation, and collaborate with customers to ensure high-performance

Qualifikationen

• Formal qualification in automation/electronics (CFC or equivalent).
• Advanced diploma (ES) or university degree (HES) is advantageous.
• Experience in power electronics preferred.
• Fluent French; good English communication; German is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Install, commission, maintain, and repair frequency converters (drives).
• Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting at customer sites.
• Administrative tasks: service reports, protocols and technical reports; on-call duty.
