Audi Revolut F1 Team is seeking a CFD Methodology Engineer to advance CFD modelling and prediction accuracy for aerodynamics. Based in Hinwil, Switzerland, with potential work in the UK, the role focuses on improving CFD processes, implementing advanced techniques, and collaborating with software partners to accelerate solution times.

Ideal candidates hold a MSc/PhD in a relevant field and have 3+ years of CFD experience, including OpenFOAM, HPC, and programming in C++ and Python.

Qualifications

• MsC or PhD in Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field with a strong focus on CFD.
• At least 3 years of professional CFD experience.
• Experience with parallel computing and HPC.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and software development.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Knowledge of high-Reynolds flows and turbulence modelling.
• Experience with OpenFOAM and CFD development.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to overall CFD process improvements.
• Develop CFD physical models to increase accuracy of predictions.
• Improve CFD workflow to reduce time to solution.
• Collaborate with external software providers on development projects.
