Qualifikationen

• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Aufgaben

Main goal The Central Services EURO Team Leader is responsible for assessing, planning and coordinating support service logistics for staff and suppliers working on the UEFA EURO 2028 tournament.
A key focus of the role is to lead needs assessments and oversee the planning and allocation of accommodation. The role is also responsible for coordinating travel arrangements for international staff in collaboration with UEFA's in-house travel agency, ensuring all services are planned and booked ahead of the tournament. During the tournament, the EURO Central Services Team Leader will oversee the change management process, coordinating late requests and managing amendments to pre-booked services to ensure efficient service delivery and operational continuity.
Reporting to the Central Services Senior Manager, the role involves close collaboration with a broad range of internal stakeholders and external suppliers. The successful candidate will contribute to a dynamic team environment while ensuring the effective delivery of essential support services across the tournament.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing accommodation requirements and changes to travel bookings
• Supervising requests from other services
• Managing training requirements and related services
• Helping to populate, maintain and update the EURO 2028 staffing plan
• Providing training and support on the staffing plan database to project leaders and external suppliers
• Handling the change management tool, communication lines and the tournament operations hotline
• Coordinating, setting up and executing training sessions for the event hotline team
• Assisting with the management of the EURO team
• Leading the organisation of the UEFA EURO 2028 final draw
• Helping colleagues working on other events if required

Requirements

Experience:

• from 4 to 6 years experience in project planning, project management or staff logistics for large-scale events
• from 4 to 6 years experience working on-site at an international sports event, using event databases and/or working with change management tools

Education:

• Master's degree in sports or event management

Languages:

• Fluent in English, any other language a plus
