Job summary

LIGENTEC is hiring a Grant Coordinator to coordinate publicly funded projects (Horizon Europe, Chips JU) and drive technical work packages. You will work closely with the PMO, engineers, and international partners to ensure governance and successful project outcomes.

The role requires a Master’s/PhD in a relevant field, 5+ years of EU-funded project coordination experience, and strong ERP and auditing skills. Hybrid work in Ecublens, with some travel to Europe, is available.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant field (Photonics/Optics/Physics/Microelectronics)
• Experience coordinating EU-funded projects (Horizon Europe, Chips JU, etc.)
• Strong technical background in integrated photonics or semiconductor tech
• Knowledge of EU grant frameworks, audits, and reporting requirements
• Proficient with ERP tools and project management methodologies
• Excellent organizational, communication, and cross-cultural collaboration skills
• Professional English; French knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple funded projects in parallel (as partner or consortium lead)
• Drive technical work packages and alignments; track milestones, budgets, risks
• Draft technical sections for grant applications and reports
• Manage timesheets, resources, and procurements in ERP; monitor depreciation
• Ensure audit readiness and respond to inquiries in audits
• Represent LIGENTEC in consortium meetings and workshops across Europe
