Job summary

Scalera is building AI-powered automation for the European construction industry, and we’re looking for a product-minded engineer who can work closely with customers to shape the product. You’ll own the end-to-end delivery from discovery to production, collaborating with a small, fast-moving team across Switzerland, Austria and Germany.

You’ll code in Go and Python (FastAPI), design APIs, and build data pipelines that turn complex tenders and orders into reliable data.

Qualifications

• Experience turning customer problems into product requirements.
• Ability to own features from concept to production.
• Strong backend and API design skills in Go or Python.
• Comfort communicating in English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Spend real time with customers; join calls and site visits to understand their work.
• Shape what to build; define scope and plan with stakeholders.
• Build backend services in Go/Python that convert tenders into usable data.
• Ship features quickly, then monitor usage and iterate.
• Own production issues and fix them when they arise at customers.
• Build with AI; design systems that agents and people can use.
