Job summary
Stadler Rail AG in Switzerland seeks motivated talents to shape mobility. You will commission and provide technical support for ETCS and railway signalling systems on rail vehicles, and deliver remote and on-site interventions across national and international environments.
The role requires an automation/electronics/mechatronics technical vocational training, willingness to travel 40-60%, fluent German and good English, plus collaboration with customers, suppliers, and project teams.
Qualifications
- Fluent German and good English, written and spoken.
- Completed technical vocational training in related field.
- Willingness to travel 40–60% across Switzerland and Europe.
Responsibilities
- Commissioning and technical support of ETCS and signalling systems on rail vehicles.
- Provide customer support during warranty and operational phases.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues using ETCS logs, JRU data, and diagnostic tools.
- Prepare technical reports, test records, and documentation.
- Deliver remote support and on-site interventions at customer locations.
- Plan and execute commissioning activities, system tests, and training sessions.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers and cross-functional project teams internationally.
