Job summary

Sika is seeking an ESG Digitalization Intern in Zürich/Altstetten to support the ESG Controlling Team with digitalization, automation, and data pipelines that drive scalable ESG reporting.

You will contribute to software development, data engineering, and CI/CD initiatives, with opportunities to learn Databricks, Python, and analytics workflows while collaborating with senior tech leads in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Understanding of databases and SQL.
• Willingness to learn.
• Proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• English language required; German/Spanish a plus.
• Nice to have familiarity with CI/CD concepts (GitHub Actions) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
• Knowledge of Databricks, data engineering, Python, and analytics workflows.
• Knowledge of PowerBI and API design principles.

Responsibilities

• Software Development: design, build and maintain web applications across front-end and back-end, translating business needs into technical requirements.
• Data Engineering & Analytics: develop and maintain data pipelines and Databricks workflows for ESG reporting, including ingestion, transformation and modelling.
• CI/CD & Infrastructure: support setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure tooling (GitHub Actions, Terraform).
