Job summary

Sika is seeking an ESG Digitalization Intern in Zürich/Altstetten to support the ESG Controlling Team with digitalization, automation, and data pipelines that drive scalable ESG reporting.

You will contribute to software development, data engineering, and CI/CD initiatives, with opportunities to learn Databricks, Python, and analytics workflows while collaborating with senior tech leads in a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

• Software Development: design, build and maintain web applications across front-end and back-end, translating business needs into technical requirements.
• Data Engineering & Analytics: develop and maintain data pipelines and Databricks workflows for ESG reporting, including ingestion, transformation and modelling.
• CI/CD & Infrastructure: support setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure tooling (GitHub Actions, Terraform).

Support the ESG Controlling Team in Zürich/Altstetten in its digitalization and automation journey, building and maintaining applications and data pipelines that drive automated, scalable ESG reporting.

Main Task

Software Development: Design, build, and maintain web applications, covering both front-end and back-end development. Understand business needs, translate them into technical requirements, and contribute to the full software lifecycle from specification through deployment.

Secondary Task (Nice to have)

CI/CD & Infrastructure: Support the setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment (e.g. GitHub Actions, Terraform).

Data Engineering & Analytics: Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows in Databricks to support ESG Reporting use cases, including data ingestion, transformation, and modelling.
