Job summary

ERM is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Environmental Remediation to join our teams in Lausanne or Zurich. You will lead remediation projects, coordinate site investigations and design, while liaising with clients, technical experts, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliant, high-quality outcomes.

The role requires hands-on project management background, a strong technical foundation in hydrogeology/geology or environmental sciences, and fluency in German, French, and English.

Qualifications

• Hands-on project management experience in remediation projects.
• Strong understanding of soil and groundwater contamination and remediation technologies.
• Regulatory knowledge of Swiss environmental frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental remediation projects from planning to close-out.
• Lead site investigations, risk assessments, and remediation design.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors and field personnel.
• Act as main client contact ensuring high-quality deliverables and clear communication.
• Prepare technical reports, proposals, budgets and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with Swiss regulations and standards.
• Support business development through proposals and client presentations.
